World Kabaddi League (Season-2) Phase-3 begins tomorrow

The 3rd phase of the World Kabaddi League (Seasons-2) beings at International Hockey Stadium, Phase-9 tomorrow. Mr. Kamaljit Singh Hayre, Commissioner of the World Kabaddi League told that in the 3rd phase of the World Kabaddi League, both Semi finals & Finals Match will be held on 20 & 21 October respectivey. The 1st & 2nd phase of the World Kabaddi League was successfully condcuted at Jalandhar & Bathinda, respectively where the top six teams, namely California Eagles (USA), Khalsa Warriors (Canada), Royal Kings (USA), United Singhs (UK), Milwaukee Wolves (USA) and Punjab Tigers (Canada) partcipated and the teams got fisrt 4 positions, nemely California Eagles (USA), Royal Kings (USA), United Singhs (UK) and Punjab Tigers (Canada) qualified for the Semi-finals, scheduled to be held on October 20, 2016, Mr. Hayre added.
 Mr. Kamaljit Singh Hayre, Commissioner, WKL further said that the Winners will get a cash prize of Rs. 1.00 Crores while Runners-up & team got rd place will be pocketed with cash prize of Rs. rs. 50 Lakhs & 25 Lakhs, respectively.
 According to Mr. Ranbir Singh Tut, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the WKL that no gate money will be charged from the spectators who will come to witness the matches and the entry is totally free to promote the game of kabaddi in Punjab. Mr. Anil Joshi, Minister for Local Bodies will be the Chief Guest on the Semi-finals whereas Mr. Sukhbir Singh Badal, Deputy Chief Minister, Punjab will the Chief Guest on Finals to give away the prizes to the finalists. The semi-finals will be held on 20th October, 2-16 on 6.30 pm onwards while final match will be at 7:30 Pm onwards. The world famous punjabi folk singer Mr. Ranjit Bawa will entertain the spectators live from 4.30 pm onwards till the start of finals match. All arrangement like Security, Transports, boarding & loadging etc. have been completed, Mr. Tut Added.
