LIONS AND LIONESS CLUB  ORGANISED EYE AND DENTAL CHECK UP CAMP

Lions and Lioness Clubs Panchkula Premier today organised VISION  SCREENING  CAMP  and DENTAL CHECK – UP camp at Govt College, Phase – 6, Mohali for students and staff members. Eye Check up camp was organised in collaboration with Grewal Eye Institute, Chandigarh as part of the 100 years of Lions Clubs International Centenial celebrations which has given a call to serve 25 million by 2018 under ‘Sharing the Vision’ service project.During Camp more than 130 students and staff members were examined for weak eyesight and other eye ailments.

The eye camp was inaugurated by Lion Raman Gupta(ZC) and MC Councellor from Phase 6 Sh RP Sharma. Dental Check Up camp was organized with the services of Dr Pardeep Kaur. The dental camp was inaugurated by Lioness Manjit Bhamra(PDP) .During the camp,students teeths were checked thoroughly and doctor advised students how to keep their teeths and gums healthy. Present on the occasion were Lion Dr SS Bhamra, Lion G.S.Grewal (President), Lion Parvinder Singh (Secretary) Lion Shiny Taneja  (Treasurer),Lion Dheeraj Bhandhari and Lioness Renu Bakshi(President). Club members were thankful to college staff members including Mrs Urmil Goyal(officiating Principal), S Jaswinder Singh(Vice Principal), Mrs Kulwinder Gill and Mrs Gurmeet Anand for smooth running of the camps along with volunteers of College Red Cross wing. Speaking on the occasion, Lion Dr SS Bhamra thanks College staff and students and committed to conduct more projects like Blood Donation Camp, Sports Tournament, Environment Awareness Camp, Career Guidance Camp, Painting Competitions etc to encourage youths and become successful in their Career.
