CROSS-COUNTRY RACE

INTER-HOUSE CROSS-COUNTRY RACE ORGANISED AT YPS

S.A.S.Nagar, 23 November : Yadavindra Public School, Mohali, held its Inter-House Cross-Country Race on November 23, 2017.  An immense amount of enthusiasm and vigour was seen amongst all the runners, who ran to the best of their ability. The boys and girls were grouped according to their age groups. The proud winners of U - 19 (Boys) were- Aditya Bakshi (First), Gunjeet Bhullar (Second) and Maganpreet Singh (Third). In U- 19 (Girls) category, the winners were- Sehaj Kaur Tiwana (First), Alexia Verma (Second) and Ria Khurana (Third).  U-17 (Boys) Samarth Sehgal stood first, followed by Siddharth Goyal  and Abhiraj Singh respectively. In the U-17 (Girls), the first position went to Arshiya, Ekjot Kaur stood second and Ananya Sharma was third. In the U- 14 (Boys) Category, the first position went to Nitya Ahuja, Agambir Singh stood second while Harshit Kumar bagged the  third position . In the U-14 (Girls), the first position went to Senona. The second position was taken by Agam Sadiora and the Kudrat Bhatia stood third. In the U-12(Boys) group, Davik Sharma stood first, while Jasnoor Singh was second, followed by Raghav Verma. In the U-12 (Girls) category, the winners were -Jasnoor Kaur (First), Japleen K.Dhaliwal (Second) and Sajneet K. Grewal (Third). The Cross Counrty race is an enjoyable event, which is liked by all, especially the students. P.T.Usha and Milkha Singh trophy was awarded to Sehaj Kaur Tiwana and Aditya Bakshi respectively.
